Enactment Program by Madrasa Farzando

The 10^th of Rabiul Akhar was a day long awaited by the children of Madrasa Mohammediyah as they lined up at Noor Hall, Sharjah for a display of talent, creativity and a sense of sanity. The enactments on Salaat, Lisan al-Dawat and Deeni She’ar were to be presented on a beautifully decorated and well lit stage made of glass. The lightening was carefully planned and designed to give the Glass made stage a unique look. The backdrop depicted the three themes of the dramatic performance that was to be presented by the little talents, and also highlighted the central theme of this year’s Ayyam al-Taabudaat, “Muhakaat al-Aaabaa wal Ummohaat”.

Mumineen and Muminaat attended the program in two shifts and each of them returned with an applaud of finding understanding and thought on the above topics.

Days of planning and preparation had been reduced to ink under the supervision of Janab Amil Saheb Qusai Bs Jamaluddin and Behen Saheba, both of whom had keenly gone through minute details.

The stage program elaborated and highlighted the real life events that Mumineen face and the so thought or self imposed obstacles that come in the way of the letting us obtain the khushi of Aqa Maula (TUS).

The first enactment on Salaat shed light on the day to day life events of business persons, housewives and children, who are keen on performing namaaz which is a part of their daily life. It also showed how a Mumin help his fellow brother by guiding him and helping him in performing namaaz regularly. Salat is the way to a happy and peaceful life, the showering of blessings and barakaat, and those who are not particular about it face hard situations in their daily life. The enactment displayed a fine example of the Dawoodi Bohras being very particular about Shariat of Islam, especially Salat.

For Lisan al-Dawat, the children staged a talk show that was set-up for the publicity on a book that promoted the importance our cultural language. The author of the book appeared as a special guest along with some other members of the community who took part in the conversation. The program highlighted members of the Dawoodi Bohras from different professions and fields of life who had keenly participated in the event for Lisan al-Dawat.

The third enactment shed light on the cultural importance of our clothes and appearance. The call of Aqa Maula Syedna Mohammed Burhanuddin (TUS) to Mumineen for keeping a beard (Dari), wearing a Rida and Topi in accordance to the Shariat of Islam and Sunnat of Rasulallah (SA) was particularly highlighted. The enactment showed how Mumineen gained respect and due credits in real life due to their deeni she’ar (Deeni Appearance). The topi, dari and rida are a religious symbol for Mumineen, a matter of pride, prestige and respect for the Dawoodi Bohras on the whole.

Janab Amil Saheb Qusai Bs Jamaluddin concluded the program with a message of applaud for the children, the participants, khidmat guzaars, the madrasa committee and prayed for everyone who had helped make this program a success. Janab Amil Saheb also stressed that the identity of the Dawoodi Bohras is in upholding the values that the little ones had put forwarded and displayed in their enactment. The message on Salaat, Lisan al-Dawat and the Deeni Shi’ar given by the children is the khushi of our beloved Maula (TUS) and the factual applaud to their talent would be our amal.

Final Exam Results

The final exam results for the year 1428-39 were declared today. Janab Amil Saheb Qusai BS Jamaluddin presided over the open house meet. Parents of all the students gathered for the declaration as Head Moallim Saheb Shk Shabbir bhai announced the over all results for the year, an overall 99% has been achieved. Prizes were awarded to the first three students of each class by Janab Amil Saheb. An atmosphere of joy for the students and parents was felt throughout.

The function started with Tilawat of Quran-e-Majid followed the result announcement and a short address by Janab Amil saheb.

May Allah Subhanahu grant our beloved Maula Syedna Mohammed Burhanuddin (TUS) a long life and grant us the tawfeeq to seek, learn and memorize the ilm of al-Quran al-Karim and deen throughout our lives. Ameen

Final Exams held at al-Masjid al-Burhani, Sharjah

The final exams of Madaris Emaniyah in al-Emarat started as per the farman from ATTALIM on the 21st of March 2008 under the supervision of Janab Shk Husain bhai Hafizji. Sharjah being the center of DCE, the written papers of all students of Sharjah and Ajman were held at the Burhani Masjid and the orals as well were held at the masjid. The masjid being the center of tarbiyat and talim right from the time of Rasulallah (SA) is a holy place of ibadat and the event showed many parents and students that talabul ilm is also one of the loftiest forms of ibadat in Islam. The masdar and startpoint of all ilm being the words of wahye, the Quran-e-Majeed.

The examiners who were appointed from ATTALIM for these annual exams in Sharjah were:
1) Janab Shk Husain bhai Hafizji (from ATTALIM Mumbai)
2) Shk Mohammed bhai Udaipurwala (currently Head Moallim, Santacruz)
3) Shk Fakhruddin bhai Sadriwala (Dubai)
4) Shk Abdeali bhai Patanwala (Abu Dhabi)

The results of the annual exams at Shareqah are overwhelming and the examiners were very happy, especially to see the students recite the Quran-e-Majeed with proper qawaneen of tajweed and proper makharij, with a few students having completed the hifz of Juz Amma and more.

May Allah bless these children with the happiness of Aqamaula (TUS), and grant our Maula (TUS) a long life. Ameen

Janab Abdoabi Talib Bs Husamuddin (DM) visit

Janab Abdoabi Talib Bs bin Syedi Mukasir Saheb Husamuddin (DM) visited the Madrasa on Thursday, 15th Safar 1429. The farzando presented with a small program beginning with the Tilawat of al-Quran al-Majeed. Janab Abdoabi Talib Bs in his visit had a short meeting with the madrasa staff during which he laid emphasis on the makharij al-huruf and ahkam al-tilawat that the farzando must follow while reciting the Quran-e-Majid and that special care should be taken for the same. This was followed by a meeting with the madrasa committee. He stressed on the importance of deeni talim upto ashera and that farzando should do Hifzul Quran. He also instructed for having a multimedia ready hall for the tilawat and hifz of al-Quran al-Majid. Several other points were discussed in line with the betterment of talim in the best possible way.

Parents Gathering - Safar 1429

Madrasa Mohammediyah called upon all parents to attend a meet on the 6th of Safar 1429. The meeting was called to convey the message of Huzurala (TUS) for the importance of deeni talim especially the talim in the upper classes after the 4th Std.

More then 250 parents gathered and showed their overwhelming response towards their own concerns about the upbringing of their young ones.

The Head Moallim Saheb described the key aspects of a child's upbringing and the vitality of deeni talim in a Mumin's life. A video kalemaat of Huzurala (TUS) delivered on the 19th of Rajab 1428 in this regard were also shown. A short clip from the madaris program held in Karachi during the 1425 milad occasion in Hazrat Aliyah was also shown. The heart rendering clip consisted of the nawazishaat of Aqa Maula (TUS) on our children and had much impact on everyone present.

May Allah bless our beloved Maula (TUS) with a long life for the betterment of our children and our generations to come. Ameen

Picnic Announcement

A picnic has been arranged for all madrasa children on the 22nd of December (Saturday) to Ras al-Khaimah Children's park. Food, drinks and snacks will be served. Children are allowed to be dressed in formal (full sleeves). Boys must wear topi and girls scarf and rida respectively.

The atmosphere of Ibadat and Nusuk among farzando has been overwhelming. Just like their parents the children have been reciting adeyat and munajaat throughout these days and seeking the happiness of Aqa Maula (TUS) in anticipation of the sawab of Allah Subhanahu.

Madrasa Farzando during this mubarak month recited the darees of Syedna Hatim (RA) and Syedna Taher Saifuddin (RA) on the 17th of Shehruallah on Friday and did dua for the sehat and tul al-umr of Aqa Maula (TUS).

On the night of Aakhir Jumoa, the 23rd of Shehrullah, the farzando were blessed with the khidmat of iftari niyaaz of all Mumineen of Sharjah. The night before, on laylat al-qadr they had done ibadat and listened of the Kalemaat Nooraniyah of Aqa Maula (TUS). Mumineen of Sharjah were immensely happy to see the enthusiasm of the farzando.

On the 25th of Shehrullah the madrasa farzando presented a short program consisting of tilawat of adeyat, munajaat and riwayats after the Isha Namaaz, followed by the video of Aqa Maula's (TUS) Kalemaat on the Urs of Syedna Taher Saifuddin (RA) this year.

Wajebaat Bethak and Iftari Niyaaz by Farzando

The tarbiyat and upbringing of Mumineen farzando is a part of the deeni lessons for our young ones. The deeni talim is not only limited to the classrooms but its most important place is in ones own life, at home, at the masjid and among pears.

On Sunday the 12th of Shehrullah Mumineen farzando gathered at the masjid with adab and enthusiasm to offer their wajebaat as taught to them and hoping that some day they will grow up and follow one of the most important tenets of Islam as done by their parents.

As each farzand offered wajebaat Janab Amil Saheb prayed for their prosperity in life and for their rizq. The goal of achieving the happiness of our Maula (TUS) was in front of the eye of each child as he was led towards Janab Saheb.

These young ones will, Inshallah, offer their ibadat on Laylatul Qadr and fast the next day. The same day they will offer iftar niyaaz to Mumineen and attain the azeem sawab all in the eagerness to make Maula (TUS) happy.

May Allah Subhanahu bless our beloved Maula (TUS) a long life ba-sehat and afiyat. Ameen

Students of Madrasa Mohammediyah- Sharjah hosted an exhibition explaining and depicting the different topics and subjects covered in the bayaan of Huzurala TUS from Ashara Mubaraka 1428, Colombo. An effort in their very little way.

The bayaan was showcased in a very innovative style with emphasis on helping the children to understand basic Islamic tenets.

Mumineen from all over the UAE visited the Maaraz and applauded the children's efforts as this kind of colourful array of display with audio-visual, quiz, dramatics, madeh recitals and fantastic portrayals is a remarkable one our ilmi Madrasah.

Exhibition on Ashara Mubarakah 1428

Madrasa Mohammediyah farzando have prepared an ilmi exhibition on the Ashara Mubarakah of Colombo. The maaraz explain the various streams of knowledge that can be found in the waaz mubarak of Aqamaula (TUS).

There is a short play and a video clip of Ashura will be shown to visitors.

Mumineen/Muminaat are equested to attend the maaraz to encourage the young talents of Shareqah.
